Lighting: Lotte Lamps

July 7th, 2008

From Julie:

Discovered on More Ways to Waste Time: mid-century modern stoneware lamps from Lotte Lamps, a small company that has been making lamps since 1957. The current owners produce the original product line, using the master molds created by Danish immigrants Lotte and Gunnar Bostlund, in a barn in Circleville, Ohio. The lamps are available in several different shapes and sizes and in 14 different glazes (ranging from eggplant to bone). Prices start at $125 for a 20-inch model and go up to $475 for a 37-inch tall model; shades are included and are available in white fiberglass or natural linen. Go to Lotte Lamps for ordering information.

I really appreciate that you took the time to download the pdf and show us these images! when I saw the post on morewaystowastetime, I went to the Lotte Lamp site, and for some reason declined to download the pdf. Now I see what i was missing, and have a better sense of the variety of lamps this company is selling.
