Shopper’s Diary: Pedlars
June 9th, 2008
From Sarah:
One of our favorite resources for home products and vintage finds is the UK-based Pedlars catalog; the proprietors have just opened a retail store in Notting Hill (should you find yourself in the neighborhood). You can also visit the website to peruse the wares and learn about how the company has gone carbon neutral (all packaging is biodegradable, for instance).

Below: Melamine bread bin with beech lid that doubles as a cutting board, available in white, black, or red; £39.50.

Below: Kitchen Lamp, made in South Wales by a family-run metal spinning company. Also available in cream or silver for £48.50

Below: Otto Fan featuring metal blades with wood casing; £295 (a plug converter would be required for use in the US).

Below: Vintage tea towel, discovered unused from an old cruise ship; £9.95.

Below: Vintage restored Smiths Clock; from £99.
