Steal This Look: Mill Valley Sleep Quarters

June 2nd, 2008

From Julie:

HOME Magazine graciously featured our Mill Valley house in its June issue (thanks, Wendy and Sarah), including the master bedroom addition, which measures all of 350 square feet, including the bathroom. Somehow our architect, Jerome Buttrick, managed to shoehorn it all in. (See the entire suite of images at Point Click Home; photos by the delightful Bay Area–based David Duncan Livingston.) First up, we deconstruct the bedroom.

Below: Original BTC Stirrup Sconces from Conran. Source at your own peril; despite the aesthetic appeal, the odd UK wiring has never quite worked properly (potentially threatening spitting noises occasionally eminate).

Below: Another option is the Hector Switch Wall Light, also from Original BTC, in porcelain and ceramic; $175 at the Conran Shop Online.

What an absolutely breathtaking home! Plus, your husband looks like Bill Pullman — I love Bill Pullman!

    You’re a lucky woman …
