Although this highly theoretical NYC firm designs award-winning university buildings and important residences in Telluride and Martha’s Vineyard (see this one at Materialicious), we prefer this modest modernist house in Garrison, NY. It has an undeniable Ice Storm-ish appeal, yet is forward looking in its detailing. Go to Architecture Research Office to see more.
