Hardware: Rotating Outlet

From Janet:

Ever try plugging in your Mac and cell-phone charger at the same time? Thanks to the proliferation of bulky plugs on home appliances and electronics, many of our dual sockets can accommodate only one plug at a time. Designed by a woman engineer, the 360 Electrical Rotating Duplex Outlet solves the problem. Both the top and bottom sockets rotate in either direction a full 360 degrees, providing the flexibility needed to make full use of both outlets. Available in four colors at Ace Hardware for $11.99.

Custom Corian Kitchen

From Sarah:

Netherlands-based architects Hofman Dujardin designed this custom Corian kitchen unit for an Amsterdam apartment. The curved corners and recessed drawer pulls are particularly noteworthy. To see more of the firm’s work, go to Hofman Dujardin.

Kitchen: Marble Sink

From Julie:

Euclidean perfection: This honed Carrara marble sink from Marble Sink Warehouse. An interesting alternative to the ubiquitous ceramic farmhouse sink; 33 by 20 by 10 inches, $1,025.
