Steal This Look: London Kitchen
April 7th, 2008
From Julie:
What looks at first glance to be a custom kitchen in London turns out to be a clever amalgamation of off-the-shelf Ikea components. Recreate the look using the elements below:
Below: Farrow & Ball Vert de Terre paint.

Below: Low-cost Arctic White subway tiles from Daltiles or authentic glossy tile from Subway Ceramics.

Below L: Polished aluminum Deja-Vu Counter Stool from Magis; $450 at Nova 68. Below R: Emeco Counter Stools from Design Within Reach; $305 to $760 depending on finish. (Also, investigate our 10 Easy Pieces: Counter Stools post.)

Below: Ikea’s Varde Base Cabinet in birch and white laminate, with stainless leg caps and nickel handles; $329.
Below: Ikea’s Varde Glass Door Wall Cabinet; $169.

Below: Ikea’s Varde Sink Cabinet; $300.98.

Below: Ikea’s Groland Kitchen Island; $199.
