Note: While we show single toggle models, all of these are available in dozens of configurations for outlets, dimmers, and so on.

Kitchen: Sorrentina Stovetop Espresso Maker

From Julie:

Last week, Dwell clued us in to the reissued Sorrentina espresso maker by Giordano Robbiati. The Milan designer created the iconic Atomic coffee maker in the late 1940s; it produces up to six espresso shots and steams and froths milk. Australian company Ikon Exports recently came out with a premium reproduction of Robbiati’s patented coffee machine, manufactured to the same dimensions and high standard. Made of polished alloy and Bakelite, it is $450 AU (approximately $413 US) at Sorrentina Coffee, which ships to the US.

From Julie:

We just noticed this recently completed Tribeca kitchen in Annabelle Selldorf’s portfolio; the Chris Lehrecke turned wood stools function as sculpture and lend an art gallery vibe to the spartan space.
