Do you recommend these without a shade? Wouldn’t the light be harsh? I’m renovating my tiny tiny (6′x9′) kitchen (no window)in a NYC prewar building and am struggling with lighting decisions. I don’t particularly like track lighting but wonder what else will give me the light I need. Any advice?
