Recently, Dwell clued us in to an interesting proposition. German appliance maker Gaggenau is pursuing the youth market, offering a significant cost savings with a suite of five stainless-steel appliances for $15,000, which is substantially less than what you would pay if you purchased the elements individually (a 23 percent savings).
