Antiques & Vintage: Chairloom
March 7th, 2008
From Julie:
Today’s Design*Sponge clued us in to Chairloom, an Ardmore, Pennsylvania-based company owned by Molly Worth that salvages and reupholsters vintage furniture. Her wares can be found at the Bee’s Nest (16 E. Eagle Rd., Havertown, PA; 610-789-2720 and Estate Antiques (725 S. 4th Street, Philadelphia, PA ; 215-922-5714). Our favorite chairs are those covered with fabric from Canadian Virginia Johnson, one of our all-time favorite print and patternists. Johnson’s fabrics are available on her website; go to virginiajohnson.com. N.B. On April 6, Chairloom will be at the Brooklyn Flea Market.
