From Julie:
Marcel Breuer, Serge Chermayeff, Walter Gropius, and Eero Saarinan all built houses on outer Cape Cod in the fifties and sixties. Painter James Lechay (1907–2001) moved in the same rarefied, intellect-heavy circles; his house remains one of the best examples of modest Bauhaus architecture in town.

Leshay in his studio; go to aaai.si.edu to read more about him and his work (his paintings can be glimpsed in the above photo).
