The Financial Times selections from the IMM Cologne international furniture show included this clever asymmetrical desk with bookshelves designed by Arik Levy. A brilliant concept from Danish furniture company Richard Lampert, the Booktable comes in raw oak with wax finish, an intriguing-sounding smoked oak, or in a white or black lacquer finish, with powder-coated steel support-cum-shelves; $2,500 to $4,000 at richard-lampert.de
