The soft furnishings, the mix of objects, the type of antiques... they are all clearly emulating his work and style.  I have loved the work of Axel Vervoordt for many years, ever since seeing the Florentine apartment  that he did for Katia and Marielle Labèque in the pages of Elle Decor.

We visited Kanaal in Belgium this past October, and it was like no other showroom I have ever been in -- well worth making a special trip to see.
