From Living Etc.: Note the juxtaposition of the ornate silver candelabras with the rustic wood table and the modernist chairs:
I didn’t think it could be done: integrating Colonial pieces with a modernist interior. But NYC architect Mary Burnham of Murphy Burnham & Buttrick Architects (mbbarch.com) proves me wrong with this summer-house kitchen:
