Mosquito Supper Club: A Restaurant in a 19th-Century New Orleans House

Photography by Jillian Greenberg courtesy of Mosquito Supper Club

In a 19th-century house in New Orleans is a small restaurant that feels as though you’re dining in someone’s front parlor; take a look inside Mosquito Supper Club:

Chef Melissa M. Martin designed the space herself, keeping much of the house’s original layout.

The farmhouse benches and tables were handcrafted by New Orleans furniture designer Matthew Holdren.

The cloth napkins are Ikea’s red-striped Tekla Dish Towels.

All artwork (except for the large woodblock print in the back) is by Leslie Martin, Martin’s jazz pianist brother.
