Kitchen Tour: A Young Architect’s DIY, Ikea-Hack Copenhagen Kitchen

Take a look at architect Stine Marie Rosenborg's sunny Copenhagen apartment kitchen, a DIY, little-bit-at-a-time affair:

The small and sunny kitchen, with plain wood floors, butcher-block countertops, a newly installed balcony, and plenty of houseplants.

The kitchen is painted in a serene palette of charcoal and cream; note the Vipp trashcan.

The couple’s breakfast nook got an upgrade with a hand-built storage bench,

A light-filled place for breakfast.

Ikea’s Ivar cabinets, wall-mounted, in the dining room.

Open, the cabinet is a wall-mounted bar, with interiors painted in Etruscan Red by Danish paint company Flügger.
