Casa González & González, Purveyors of Simple but Beautiful Essentials in Madrid

Set in a tiny storefront in Madrid's Salesas district, Casa González & González is devoted to the useful and the well-made; join us for a look:

The look of the shop is modeled after “tiny, stuffed old corner stores from the 19th century.”

The offerings range from English dipped beeswax tapers to Japanese brooms.

Stainless steel Korean teapots, Portuguese olive oil decanters, and French glassware on display.

Purchases are wrapped in brown paper tied up with string.
