Campsite Luxe: Le Petite Ten Mile River in Upstate New York - Remodelista

Our friends at And North—a creative’s guide to New York beyond the city—clued us in to a luxe campsite on the Ten Mile River in Narrowsburg that has us planning our next trip upstate. It’s a collaboration between the landowners—Maison Bergogne shop owner Juliette Hermant and her partner Anie Stanley, proprietress of Woolheater Wares—and NYC-based startup Tentrr (think: Airbnb for camping). Hermant and Stanley are antiques experts and have outfitted their canvas tent accordingly. Plaid and Welsh wool blankets warm the queen-size air mattress. Hermant and Stanley outfitted the tent with an antique writing desk, ladder-back chair, and cowhide rug. A cot with striped pillows and a ticking-striped mattress and blanket. The campsite is located at the end of a dirt road with private riverfront. Extras—like picnic lunches and chartered fishing tours—can be booked for a fee. Creature comforts include a folding wood table, cast-iron skillet, casserole dish, and even wine goblets. The plein-air laundry room. The tent is perched on a wooden platform just beside the river.
