Bergaliv: Two Tiny Escapes in Sweden, Designed by an Architect
Working with petite dimensions?

The Loft House
The first of the structures, the Loft House, is tucked into a grove and surrounded by trees.
Inside is a built-in lounge area.
Just alongside is a no-frills sink setup.
With space at a premium, architect Hanna Michelson of Fria Folket designed most everything to be hung, rolled, or tacked up on the walls when not in use.
An off-grid (but no less stylish) washbasin. At night, the space transforms into a sleeping area, with linen sheets atop thick mattress rolls.
Breakfast in the morning includes locally baked bread.
The South Loft
In the main area, a low platform transforms into the sleeping area.
The petite kitchenette has a wall-mounted tap.
Another sleeping area is upstairs.
Lights can be ported around from space to space as needed.
