There’s something distinctly cool about Ikea’s new Kåseberga collection. And no wonder: All of the products were designed in collaboration with the World Surf League and pro surfers and made from sustainable materials. We particularly look the limited-edition Kåseberga “cool basket,” good-looking as indoor storage but even better when taken on summer picnics.
Ikea’s Kåseberga Cool Basket is part picnic basket, part cooler, with a braided bamboo exterior and a cotton zipper bag interior.
We particularly like the basket’s straight sides, which, in addition to giving it a clean, boxy silhouette, accommodate bottles and provisions more easily than sloped sides.
The Kåseberga Cool Bag is $34.99, available for a limited time at Ikea. We could see it working well as bath storage, too.
