Take a look at the remodel Lonika Chande took on for her mother, whose one-bedroom investment property in Hampstead needed an overhaul:

The flat was recently used as student digs but had initially been an artist’s studio, and that’s the vibe Lonika and Lucy wanted to re-create.

Lonika designed a U-shaped kitchen with Shaker-style cabinets painted in Paint & Paper Library’s Muga.

An antique shelf provides a place to prop art over the sink.

The living rooms opens to a compact dining area with a 1960s extendable teak table.

The bedroom woodwork is painted in a pale green called The Botanist from Paper & Paints Library.

The bedroom is fitted with a chair from Myriad Antiques in Holland Park.

The tiny bath has green Portuguese Encaustic Alvito tiles from Fired Earth.
