A couple of years ago we all became obsessed with the guest rooms at the Hotel Sanders in Copenhagen, which feature rattan bed frames by London-based design studio Lind + Almond. So we took note when we spotted a new, more streamlined version of the Sanders bed used in the Hotel Sanders—the Walford—on the Lind + Almond website. Here are three versions on the theme:
The Walford has a low headboard in European oak and rattan. Hand crafted to order in Europe and available in nine sizes and two timber tones, it's $10,429 via 1stDibs.
The Cane Bed from Industry West has an ash wood frame and woven cane head and footboard; the Queen Size is $3,900.
The Yvette Bed from West Elm is $899.40 and is made of solid reclaimed mango wood and rattan.
