This small planting hoe – or ‘Setzhaeundl’ in the local dialect (do your best!) – has an unusually light, pleasant and balanced ‘feel’ in the hand – but generates enough power, if properly ‘swung’ to make planting efficient and effortless. We looked all over Europe to find a hoe like this, and struck lucky in Austria.
- The pointed blade (14 x 12.5 cm) is of forged carbon steel.
- Beech-wood handle.
- Length 50 cm.
- Weight 530 g.
