Handmade in Shropshire from prime grade white beech, it stands 122cm high, 47cm deep and 59cm wide, with 10 sturdy drawers providing plenty of storage space for apples or anything else you fancy from vegetables to gardening equipment and wine. This is expertly manufactured to furniture standards and is without doubt the best quality apple rack on the market. Please note this rack is supplied FULLY ASSEMBLED and not in flat pack or kit form as with some inferior quality pine racks. When storing apples the ideal location for the rack is a dark, well ventilated cellar, shed or garage where the temperature is cool, between 3 – 7 C (37-45 F).
Before placing in the rack give each apple a wipe with a soft cloth and wrap in newspaper. Check the apples for bruising as these won’t store well and will deteriorate quickly.
