Faucets & Fixtures: Blanco Purus I Kitchen Faucet

Janet Hall July 29, 2010

I have to admit I wasn’t unhappy when my 15-year-old pull-out faucet suffered an irreparable leak earlier this year, precipitating the need for a new faucet. After an extensive search, I settled on the Blanco Purus I Series Single-Handled Kitchen Faucet with sidespray (and a lifetime warranty), available at eFaucets for $471. I’m happy to report that in addition to being aesthetically pleasing, the faucet works beautifully.

Above: The kitchen in House Call: Richard Ostell in Westchester features the Blanco Purus faucet.
