We worked with one of Japan’s most renowned designers, Mr Kazuo Yamada to design and create our unique table range. Produced for us in the Gifu Prefecture, famous for its white porcelain and its abundance of fine white clay, this region of Japan has a heritage of producing porcelain dating back to the 7th Century.
Light and delicate to the touch – our exclusive range of white porcelain is created using their hand made methods and techniques developed over the centuries. Japanese porcelain has to be versatile and hardy for every day use, so they fire to extremely high temperatures, causing the porcelain to vitrify.
