Though he’s known as the “master of chairs,” Danish modernism pioneer Hans Wegner didn’t entirely neglect the other categories. Applying his signature organic, minimal form, the Wegner Coffee Table (1954) is perfectly balanced on three legs, defying gravity with its visual lightness. The solid walnut table has a clear lacquer finish and the solid oak table has an oiled finish, both of which allow the natural warmth of the wood to come though and require minimal maintenance. The table's compact size makes it versatile enough to be used in front of or next to the sofa or as a bedside table. Made in Denmark. Materials : Solid walnut with clear lacquer or solid oak with oiled finish. Measurements : H 17.5" Diameter 30.75"
