These jars utilize a ‘water seal’ design feature. When used properly, the water seal creates an air free environment inside the jar during fermentation. Each piece is glazed by hand. The interior is intentionally glazed with a non-toxic, easy to clean surface.
Each jar comes with porcelain weights, used to submerge vegetables under brine water during fermentation.
