Bringing the aura of the one-off to a serial production, the seams of the porcelain casting process are left behind from the production process. The visible traces of the process become unconventional decoration in this marriage of craft and industry. Since 1997, a bright red colour could no longer be used in ceramic glazes as the paint contained the toxic substance cadmium. Toyota red industrial spray paint was used as an alternative.
