Mademoiselle Rocking Chair by Artek
Designed by Ilmari Tapiovaara, who was known for capturing the essence of the Finnish identity, the Artek Mademoiselle Rocking Chair slopes ever so gently backward as if welcoming one to rest and relax within its birch wood body. First introduced in 1956, the Mademoiselle is offered here in Black stain or White.
Founded in Finland in 1935 by four self-proclaimed idealists, Artek stands strong on the company’s ethics, product aesthetics and ecology.
