We bet it won’t be long until you wonder how you lived without the rechargeable Luau Portable LED Lamp (2006). Because Luau’s not tethered to an electrical outlet, it makes stationary lamps look so, well, stationary. When removed from its charging base, it automatically lights up and can be placed almost anywhere you like, providing dimmable warm ambient light for 5–10 hours between charges. To adjust its brightness, just spin the dial on the bottom. Use this lamp to replace wind-sensitive candles out on the deck, or bring it with you to check out that thing that clunked in the basement. The portable lantern features an energy-efficient 36-LED bulb pack with an impact- and water-resistant polyethylene housing suitable for both indoors and out; charging base is for indoors only. Lantern can be used while charging; indicator light on base changes from orange to green when fully charged. Not intended for children under 6. UL Listed. Made in China.
