designed by konstantin grcic for krups, the KB720 blender features a powerful 1000W motor & gives an ultra quiet performance with krups motor technik™ electronic motor control system. there are five speeds plus an ice crushing function with automatic pulsing for even results. the pulse function can also be used at other speeds for precise blending. the high quality, heavy-duty thermal shock resistant glass jar can hold up to 60oz. the cap is easily removable and has 1 and 2 ounce measure marks. the blades are detachable for easy, thorough cleaning; all pieces except for the motor are dishwasher safe. the base is made from heavy duty die-cast metal for stability and durability.

the history of krups began in 1846, but started as we know it today in 1866 when operations were moved to solingen, germany – where robert krups along with four of his children transformed the company into a renowned factory. they originally manufactured scales & didn’t launch their first electric coffee grinder until 1956. after selling 1 million grinders in the first year, krups shifted its attention to small appliances. and with the introduction of the electric motor, krups became germany’s pioneer for electric household appliances. since then they have continued to expand their horizons with new technologies & products and become a household name worldwide.
