Similar to the large, paddle-like traditional rice spoons of Japan, these Salad Servers have been expertly carved from ebony and oiled to protect their surface. The long, slim handles provide excellent leverage and rest comfortably in your hands. The fact that British architect and designer John Pawson spent his formative years as a student designer in Japan is evident in this elegant design for When Objects Work.
