We believe The Faribault Mill began making blankets for the military as early as 1897. The Foot Soldier is made to the same military specification we’ve been using since at least 1917. Originally designed to accommodate the widely varying temperatures of Cadet sleeping quarters, the “double cloth” construction of this blanket results in a warm, heavy, yet breathable product. Available in four military spec colors and finishes: Cadet gray with gold and black stripe, Cadet maroon with gold stripes, U.S. Navy solid gray and U.S. Army solid green. Permanently moth-proofed, 100% pure wool. Machine washable and dryable.
