Inspired by the austere lifestyle of Bohemian monks, architect turned designer John Pawson created this set of Spartan tableware. While designing a Cistercian monastery in Czechoslavakia, Pawson grew to appreciate the monks’ spare way of life. Where some flatware sets weigh you down with a multitude of pieces, this simple four-piece set is a return to the basics.
