Designed by Axel Enthoven, Jean-Pierre Geelen and Alain Denis, produced by Gloster
Axel Enthoven has been a mainstay in the furniture design world for decades – winning his first industry award in 1969. Together with his partners Jean-Pierre Geelen and Alain Denis, the designer operates his international design studio from offices in both the Netherlands and France. The inspiration for the Elan Collection (2008) came from the designers' desire to combine the beauty and simple lines of interior furniture with the durability required for outdoor living. Made of solid teak, this durable Table comes with two expansion leaves. Sturdily attached to bars that pull out from each end, these leaves create a larger serving area and more room to squeeze in extra guests. The teak used to make Elan is harvested from strictly managed plantations that follow good practices for the environment, the workers and the local communities. Suitable for residential, hospitality and contract use. Made in Indonesia.
Materials : Solid teak legs and tabletop; brushed stainless-steel accents.
