Arnold Circus Stool

Martino makes funny shaped furniture. Amalgams of odd angles, strange protuberances, unlikely surfaces and idiosyncratic features, his pieces perch uncertainly, as if waiting politely for an introduction to life on earth.

The Arnold Circus Stool was designed as part of the regeneration of Arnold Circus a tiny raised park in Shoreditch, London. The stool is used as the official seating for the annual events that take place around the bandstand. Events such as; circus picnic, brass band concerts, carrom tournaments, flower plantings and of course music and film.

Please note that due to the rotation moulding process used, slight surface imperfections may be evident.
