Monocle X Artek Stool 60 Anniversary Edition

The legendary Finnish architect Alvar Aalto designed this birchwood stool 75 years ago. To celebrate its birthday, Monocle met with Artek and updated a design classic. In a nod to the father of modernism, the anniversary edition is upholstered in Finnish elk leather that is soft to the touch but hardwearing too. The run is limted to 250, with each stool bearing the Artek and Monocle stamps of approval.
