Today's Hotel & Lodging: Montauk Surf Lodge reminded me how much I like casual grass matting (the kind you used to be able to buy by the foot at Cost Plus) as a summer flooring solution. Pottery Barn recently began carrying the Patchwork Jute Rug, which has a similar look; prices start at $119 for the 3-by-5-foot size.
