Kitchen confidential: we're currently coveting a set of block prints inspired by the Chino Farm, the famed Southern California farm stand.
Berkeley-based printmaker and illustrator Rigel Stuhmiller spent time at Chino's. As she notes, "All of my vegetable and fruit block prints are inspired by time spent on Chino Farm in San Diego. This renowned vegetable stand has provided impeccable produce for Chez Panisse, Spago, and numerous high-end restaurants around San Diego. I've never seen another farm that grows vegetables of such enormous variety or beauty. Spending time on the farm is one of my greatest pleasures."
