The adjustable arc 109 lamp from Brooklyn-based David Weeks Studio is wonderful. Very unique when all the others look like they are re-inventing themselves.
Very lovely selection. Might I add

i love these, but with so many less expensive and wonderfully designed alternatives, I can't imagine spending 700+ on a talsk light. Think west elm, CB3, even pottery barn for some great alternatives for 200 and less. spend your dough on the fabulous ochre sofa.
speaking of lighting, Ina Garten's HB test kitchen has cable lighting which may be - possibly - approximated at Ikea- installed version not shown at my location - are there other sources known to you? Ongoing problems for lighting in a kitchen- can it be reached for easy bulb replacement and can it be kept clean? Do you have solutions?
