From Julie

For some reason it took me several years to figure out the importance of aprons in domestic life. Now I have a couple on hand at all times; here are some stylish possibilities:

Below: Brown Cotton Canvas Apron; £35 from Labour and Wait in London.

I love my Rienzi apron. I use a garden apron in the kitchen. It has a split down the center in front, below three pockets, which makes it easy to bend and move.

They also have kitchen aprons with

interesting... i was going to make aprons this week out of linen. i print fabric, and it can be messy. could not find the size or style that i wanted, and had designed something similar to the libeco...

I love these ! I live in a house full of men (hubby and 3 sons) and I can see my boys grabbing one of these aprons and using them!

Thanks so much !

Really. Thank you. An apron is a sacred symbol of a home, and of making a home. Or remodeling it, or simply spending time in it. Brilliant blog. Will be spending time here.

Nice blog! I live in London and the Labour and wait is the one of the best shops in London. And I have libeco's apron with dark color, most black. It is really good one. It's bit expensive but I recommend this to people to think about to buy a new apron. It is adjustable so both male and female can use it. The touch of the linen is also very soft and nice. We cook at home so much so we use it everyday. You are not going to be dissapointed.
