Steal This Look: A Moody Hotel Bedroom, Glam Edition

October 25, 2016

Interior designer Nicole Hollis is an expert in the ways of moody glamour. Case in point? The interiors of the Palladian Hotel in a 1910 landmark building in Seattle, where Hollis used velvet, blackened wood, and tarnished brass to create atmosphere. Here we take a closer look at Hollis’s design in the bedrooms, with a list of sources to match.

Designer Clarisse Demory did something similar in her Paris apartment, applying a matte off-black paint and finishing it with a natural turpentine.
