Shopper's Diary: The Perish Trust in SF

San Francisco–based stylist Rod Hipskind and photographer Kelly Ishikawa—proprietors of The Perish Trust at 728 Divisadero Street—have a mission to "diligently collect and curate antiques from the dead and dying industries." The shop is a refreshing mix of curiosities and antique finds; currently on display is a collection of vintage typewriters. The offbeat sensibility is matched by equally offbeat hours, so call ahead before stopping in.
