Last December, I visited Caravane in the Marais District of Paris. Founded in 1995 by Françoise Dorget, Caravane's mix of bohemian modern furniture and lighting with handcrafted objects and textiles is a source of inspiration for everyday interiors. This summer when I returned to visit friends and family in Paris I re-discovered Caravane and was blown away. I was so taken with the place that I lucked out, was allowed to photograph their three stores and became a photographic contributor to their website. This was a real turning point for me as a budding photographer. Simply the most beautiful store (rue de Pavee) that I've seen in years.
