House Call: Shepherd's Hut in France

I love the spartan simplicity and natural elements of this French shepherd's hut. Materials such as beechwood, wool, linen, and felt add warmth to this stone-built hut in France's Cantal region. Because the hut has no electricity, the fire serves as a stove and candles provide light; sofas double as beds at night. This is lovely! I immediately fell for the benches by the dining table, I'll have to persuade my boyfriend to make something similar for me.
