One of our favorite design houses is Casamidy, a husband-wife collaboration between Parsons alum Jorge Almada and Paris-born RISD-graduate Anne-Marie Midy. Based in San Miguel Allende, Mexico, the couple has been working with artisans in Mexico since 1998, producing a line of beautifully crafted and stylish furniture and home accessories; their highly original interior projects have been featured in World of Interiors, Elle Decor, and House & Garden. Casamidy designs the most beautiful outdoor lanterns we've seen anywhere; the lanterns can be ordered directly from Casamidy.
