Recently spotted at Tent London during London Design Week: Jody Leach's Herbivore planter for supermarket herb pots.

UK product designer Jody Leach likes to keep things simple, honest, and clear. "Problems are good," he says. "It means things can be improved and simplest solutions are often the best." We couldn't agree more: Unsightly and cluttering supermarket herb pots are a thing of the past.

Above: "What do you do after you purchase a herb pot from a supermarket?," asks Leach. "Do you put in on a small plate, and then wonder where all your small plates are?" The Herbivore planter is £45 from Jody Leach.

Above: All the major UK supermarket have the same size small herb pot.

Above: The Herbivore planter is made from china clay in Stoke on Trent by a small family run business.

Above: The Herbivore has drainage holes and a matching tray if you want to use it as a planter and grown your own herbs.
