I spotted these paper lamps from Levent and Romme at the recent Brooklyn Designs Show in Dumbo. Perforated patterns are used to great effect in the work of designers Fiyel Levent and Anne Romme. Recent graduates of the Cooper Union School of Architecture, they hope to have the lamps in production soon. Visit the Levent and Romme blog for more information. Levent and Romme are also featured in Grace Bonney's (of Design Sponge fame) video tours of the show: Brooklyn Designs: Part 1 and Brooklyn Design Part 2. Well worth a watch.

I was completely smitten by this work as well. The screen was lasercut corian! The patterns were so modern but had a vintage lacy feel.
