Lighting: Architect Craig Steely's Hanging Stelton Lamp

San Francisco architect Craig Steely suspended an oil-burning Stelton ship's lamp over the dining table in his Hawaii house (featured in Dwell), sidestepping the need for electrical wiring.
Above: The Stelton Lamp, created in 1990 by Copenhagen-born designer Erik Magnussen for Stelton, is available at Fitzsu Society; the 13.3-inch Stelton Ship's Lamp is $503, and the 17-inch Stelton Ship's Lamp is $692.
